FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (May 25, 2022) North Vancouver, BC, Canada – In order to multiply their success, growers must have complete visibility and control of their crops. The ecoation forecasting platform provides world-first actionable insights into the growing operation. These insights unburden growers and allow them to focus on the plants, without additional operational stress. Dr. Adrian Fuxman, who is responsible for developing and leading the data science team and methodologies at ecoation, has recently been promoted to Director of Data Science and Innovation at the company.

Adrian has a PhD. in Process Control and Engineering from the University of Alberta, a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and BSc in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur in Buenos Aires, as well as holding his P. Eng with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

Adrian has been working at ecoation for nearly three years, and in that time he has helped to develop and implement many of the ecoation platform’s important features such as fruit counting, yield assessments and forecasts, as well as 3D climate maps and IPM forecasting.

Maryam Antikchi, ecoation’s Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, says: Adrian has been a crucial part of ecoation’s ongoing journey and a major contributor to our success. His depth of experience in developing and creating new programs and algorithms is unsurpassed, and his drive to bring tools to growers and farmers that will ultimately make their lives better and their businesses more efficient drives him and his team toward excellence every day.”

Adrian manages a diverse team of international data scientists. While he truly enjoys leading his team, the biggest source of satisfaction is addressing new and hard challenges that ecoation’s customers are facing, and then solving those challenges in a simple yet elegant way, because, in Adrian’s words “our customers already have enough to deal with on a day to day basis. I want to make their lives easier.”
